Bliss

mymodestopinions:

They say ignorance is bliss. Being ignorant means you’ll never know the bad, so you’ll just be happy most of the time. But you know what’s even better than that? Learning how to handle the bad situations around you, and still live your life happily and stronger than you would have before.

Random thought

Let them you know that they are a good person and have potential.

Then, let them know what they can do to be even a better person and fulfill that potential, show them the areas they’re lacking in, and let them know they can do it. Believe in them because you may be the only person who does, and they’ll hold onto that.

Don’t just sit there and tell them everything they’re doing wrong and leave them in a sense of guilt, condemnation, and thinking low of themselves. They may fix a few things, but they’ll always see themselves as a screw up that’s not good enough unless they change for people.

Random Fact #50

Sometimes I feel like 2 different people.

  1. Level headed Me, who thinks rationally and can solve just about anything calmly, confidently, and if not, find advice from someone wise.
  2. Chaotic Me who thinks emotionally and feels incapable of doing things, cries more than necessary, and is a wreck.
James 1:19

My dear brothers and sisters, be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to get angry.

Hardest things is applying this to everyday relationships, to your siblings, and to people who have a tendency to purposely try and push your buttons.
